Mike's Monday Morning Message returns to introduce a new series on leadership and to learn lessons from everyday activities.

Recent Leadership OD activity has included the reinvented Executive Retreat and renewed visits to eye care practices. These revived conversations have revealed a significant void in leadership in many of our practices.

As an experienced former member of the grocery store industry, there are things that I know about the business. A recent visit to a local grocery store made me realize that some of the adjustments that we put in place in response to the pandemic may be an excuse we are using to provide inadequate service to our patients.

The time has come to reactivate strategic leadership activities into our management routines. It is imperative that we begin taking intentional steps to moving our teams toward our overall vision and mission.
